[15:28:39] well. [15:29:21] i opened a issue for the navit crash. [15:29:35] it is not a tomtom only problem. [15:29:50] its a lag="xx" problem [15:30:20] also my tt730 work now well. [15:30:59] tt XL work alo good with tne newest gltt and startmode "hard" [15:35:05] ha nice! so the fix was to force ditching the ephemeris data? [15:36:03] and thanks for troubleshooting that lag issue [15:36:27] yes. i think the firmware calculates wrong if the gps-week is less then the release week [15:37:23] 1 to 4 minutes after ditching i get a good fix. [15:37:50] nice find. it's still quite a long time but it's better than hours :) [15:38:05] did you add that to your gltt init script? [15:38:53] no. gltt has its own start mode parameter. it look it work. [15:39:23] oh i see, your tt730 polls the device directly [15:39:54] in the script is a sinple check for a gps fix. It clear only if no fix exist. [15:40:20] Yes TT730 read the device direct [15:41:32] If i find time i add a timeout to the script [15:43:08] i added the script to the navit start script. [15:44:56] In the suspend script i had problems with navit. If the device was suspended with navit open it lost connection to the GPS device. [15:45:38] may be there is a solution to "say" navit to reopen the device. [15:47:13] ( e.g. with a signal or automatic if no data arrive for some seconds) [16:13:35] yeah both options should work, it's a good idea [17:06:23] by [17:08:03] *** Quits: gernot2 (5b257862@p5B257862.dip0.t-ipconnect.de) (Quit: gernot2) [20:31:59] *** Quits: Navit (~Navit@ec2-34-214-224-248.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com) (Remote host closed the connection) [20:32:10] *** Joins: Navit (~Navit@ec2-34-214-224-248.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com) [20:32:10] *** ChanServ sets mode: +v Navit
