09:23 < groquik> hello everyone
09:23 < groquik> one question concerning the debugging/logging
09:24 < groquik> what do I have to activate in navit.xml to see the "dbg(1, "bla bla")" from the source?
09:28 <@cp15> groquik,
09:28 <@cp15> or
09:28 <@cp15>
09:28 < groquik> thanks
09:29 <@cp15> module_name is something like "navit" for the core or "gui_internal" for gui internal and so on
09:29 < groquik> it is the plugin name? from the plugin_init function
09:29 <@cp15> Setting the debug level will slow down things quite a lot
09:30 <@cp15> register_xxx_type("something",...)
09:30 < groquik> i'm still fighting with the non-depiction of the vehicle, so I want to dig a bit before asking a lot
09:30 <@cp15> What OS?
09:31 < groquik> wince
09:31 <@cp15> register_xxx_type("something",...) gives a module name of xxx_something

10:53 < groquik> I guess I know where is my "problem": upon change of the vehicle (menu>settings>vehicle change wince to demo) the new position of the vehicle is not drawn. The re-drawing is also missing when you set a point of the map to the new position "set as position"
10:53 < groquik> the vehicle seems to be drawn only if its position internally changes
10:54 < groquik> for the wince/nmea, i did not try dynamically (ie I just put the pda on the windows) so that my position is never drawn. I should try outside when the rain will stop

19:41 < curious> hmm, is it possible to make navit display arrows for one-way roads?
19:43 < curious> and ugh! just verified my suspects from on-road experience
19:43 < curious> navit ignores one-way
19:43 < curious> so it routes you against traffic !
19:43 < curious> now this is serious bug :(
19:46 < curious> any ideas for patch/workaround?
19:46 < curious> tried with latest svn btw
19:48 < curious> hmm, it seems i'm not alone
19:48 < curious> http://trac.navit-project.org/ticket/358
19:48 < curious> quite old
19:48 < curious> KaZeR, could you reopen?
19:49 <@cp15> Of course navit doesn't ignore one-way
19:49 <@cp15> Can you show an osm way id where this happens?
19:52 < curious> it happens everywhere
19:52 < curious> i pick one way roads in zittau for example
19:53 -!- mase_76 [~mase76@pD9FF7BF8.dip.t-dialin.net] has joined #navit
19:53 < curious> i.e. point 0x1920c0 0x64a1d2 as position
19:54 < curious> and point 0x19202b 0x64a1c5 as destination
19:54 < curious> well, while driving it often pushed me to one-way roads in my hometown and in various places but i blamed maps first
19:55 < curious> but for zittau i've just double checked with openstreetmaps they have oneways applied
19:56 < curious> now i route various combinations and check them with openstreetmaps web maps , as navit does not display arrows
19:56 < curious> and navit just ignores oneway

19:57 <@cp15> Have you modified your navit.xml in any way?
19:57 < curious> i.e. now change position to 0x191ec7 0x64a252 , Theodor Korner Allee is oneway aswell
19:57 < curious> yes
19:59 < curious> i often use vehcicleprofiles for bike
19:59 < curious> checking now if this somehow differs
20:00 < curious> yeah, the profile i have on my stationary computer is just using bike , and quite default navit.xml
20:02 <@cp15> For me the routing works correctly. It routes me counter-clock-wise around Zittau
20:02 < curious> ah. i see it differs
20:02 < curious> well, switch vehicleprofile to bike
20:03 < curious> i see where there is bug
20:03 < curious> there is flags_forward_mask tag set incorrectly for bike profiles
20:03 <@cp15> The bike profile ignores one-way-streets
20:03 < curious> yeah!
20:03 < curious> quite suicidal, lol
20:07 < groquik> @cp15: i tried my wince today as pedestrian --> no vehicle is displayed, even if the position of the menu>action>vehicle was correctly updated. Any clue where to look at?
20:07 < curious> ok, fixed that, now it works
20:10 <@cp15> groquik, not right now. Do you use the original navit.xml?
20:10 < curious> ok, i've updated my navit.xml to make it less suicidal : http://83.18.229.190/tmp/navit.xml
20:11 < groquik> I modified it, first to listen at the wince serial port (not the COM config) and I took one layout on the wiki. But with the original navit.xml (+GPS on wince) I got the same
20:11 <@cp15> Actually we should probably implement "one-way-exception". Do you know a street which is oneway but allows bikes to drive the "wrong" way?
20:11 < curious> such roads are marked highway=cycleway
20:12 <@cp15> groquik, hmm... Sounds like a bug... I try to find out what is wrong
20:12 < curious> they usually have cycleway lane painted in reverse direction
20:12 < curious> one adds them in parallel just like footways
20:13 < curious> i know there are few such lanes in Goerlitz
20:14 < curious> either way i.e. in zittau there are BIG roads with loads of traffic as one-ways, and by no chance one can drive against traffic with anything there
20:14 < curious> so such general rule to allow bike driving against traffic is really dangerous
20:15 < curious> esp. if one gets stuck in one of such roads, and realizes navit routed him badly, it's difficult to even change direction to go back
20:15 <@cp15> Come on, not with a bike
20:16 < curious> yeah. exactly with bike. was routed like that once - i've went a bit against traffic coz there was pedestrian footway
20:16 < curious> but the footway got narrower and narrower...
20:16 < curious> and finally i realized it was routing bug, lol
20:16 < curious> and well. you are on footway which is like 20cm wide
20:16 < curious> heavy traffic (trucks, etc) going 60km/h on your right side... now u r fucked ;p
20:19 < curious> actually zittau is good example of one-way routing, notice how much routing differs if you enable/disable oneway ignoring
20:20 < curious> well, either way fixed. someone grabbed my navit.xml few days ago, so plz update it
20:21 < curious> hm, seems korrosa
20:27 < Number6> Evening, all
20:27 < curious> btw. any ideas on possibility of displaying arrows on one-way roads?
