I tried to use a different computer, downloaded the map in very different sizes. 12:50 < sven-tek> When i use a map for my region in germany or elsewhere it looks okay with the same software. 13:02 < ventYl> yes, if you have loaded map with coastline, background goes crazy sometimes 13:04 < sven-tek> Now i switched to layout Bike, which solves that 13:05 < sven-tek> After compiling me a newer version of navit i get this message more often, when i want to click in the map and set a position: "navit:route_path_new:no route found, pos blocked". 13:09 < sven-tek> It looks like it isn't able to find the next available routable way/street then. 13:14 < sven-tek> A more important question for me is another one. I use navit to create Bike routes. Mountainbike routes in this case in the mountains. Sometimes there is no real option than to carry the bike over a way of class "hiking or hiking_mountain", but eventhough i created such a roadprofile, navit is not willing to create a route using those types of way no matter how i change the weight. Any idea, how i could enable those? 13:58 -!- ButterflyOfFire [~Butterfly@41.98.181.2] has joined #navit 13:58 -!- ButterflyOfFire [~Butterfly@41.98.181.2] has quit [Changing host] 13:58 -!- ButterflyOfFire [~Butterfly@unaffiliated/butterflyoffire] has joined #navit 14:15 -!- sven-tek [~sven-tek@bchm-4d0910a4.pool.mediaWays.net] has quit [Ping timeout: 265 seconds] 14:29 -!- tparcina [~tomo@cisco15.fesb.hr] has left #navit [] 14:52 -!- Megaf [~Megaf@unaffiliated/megaf] has joined #navit 14:57 -!- sven-tek [~sven-tek@bchm-4d0910a4.pool.mediaWays.net] has joined #navit 15:15 -!- sven-tek [~sven-tek@bchm-4d0910a4.pool.mediaWays.net] has quit [Quit: Leaving] 15:15 -!- sven-tek [~sven-tek@bchm-4d0910a4.pool.mediaWays.net] has joined #navit 15:23 -!- Dom_ [~chatzilla@public2658.xdsl.centertel.pl] has joined #navit 16:28 -!- sven-tek [~sven-tek@bchm-4d0910a4.pool.mediaWays.net] has quit [Ping timeout: 265 seconds] 16:45 -!- Dom_ [~chatzilla@public2658.xdsl.centertel.pl] has left #navit [] 17:01 -!- Dom_ [~chatzilla@public2658.xdsl.centertel.pl] has joined #navit 17:01 < Dom_> Hi. 17:02 < Dom_> Can i install Navit on my navigation with Win CE and MIPS processor? ;) 20:53 < curious> testing atm 20:53 < curious> seems route_mode solves the problem 20:53 < curious> somehow it was not activated before and was the default 20:54 < curious> it's bit weird though it makes the 'off road' apply to whole route , not just start and destination 20:55 < curious> i.e. it's at least how it's explained in wiki 20:57 < curious> i wonder if it's also not the setting which makes bicyle paths often defaulting to roads not intended for cycling when cycleway is in parallel 20:57 < curious> even if it's weighted and even rated in speed more 20:57 < curious> in bicycle vehicleprofile 20:58 < tryagain> Do you find cycleways at least sometimes routable? 20:58 < curious> yes 20:59 < curious> i'll change the route mode for bicycle :) 21:01 < curious> erm, ad above - i meant when choosing bicycle vehicleprofile 21:04 < curious> yeah, now bicycle routing seems to work correctly aswell 21:08 < curious> btw. is navit 'reusing' previous route result when calculating new one? 21:09 < curious> it seems 'sticky' 21:09 < curious> i.e. if some road is routable in both profiles, and i switch them and change source/dest just slightly it is sometimes just choosed 'as routed before' and not 'optimial' 21:16 < tryagain> curious AFAIk there's no code to 'stick' the route. When you switch the profile, both route and route graph should be dropped and built again, so no way to remember anything... 21:19 < curious> thx 21:24 < tryagain> I remember somebody recently was complaining about unable to route via some specific way type, saying the road type was in vehicle profile but still unroutable, even at short distance. Can anybody point me to that question? 21:25 < tryagain> ah, found it.
