17:57 < quixote1> street names should definitely change on zoom. This way they're illegible when you can see enough of the map to know where you're going, and when the map is zoomed in enough to see the names, all you can see is the one street on the map. So, a user interface bug, I guess?

18:02 < tryagain> That can be customized in xml. You can set different text sizes for different zoom levels. But remember. the bigger text size you set, the shorter street names will disappear from the map. We need some balance of course.

18:46 < quixote1> yes, indeed. When I set the text_size to 20, the font gets noticeably bigger. Problem is, then it refuses to display until the zoom level is so high, there's not enough context.
