I haven't have any experience with c++ coding so i don't how hoe things as build/compile work etc. 15:46 #navit: < bafplus> I use windows, is there any "guide" on how to see the sourcecode??? 15:46 #navit: < bafplus> Or maybe even "c++ for dummies"? 16:20 #navit: < woglinde> navit is written in c 16:20 #navit: < woglinde> c++ is only used in qt/qml stuff 16:21 #navit: < woglinde> bafplus and the wiki has enough sites for compiling stuff 16:21 #navit: < woglinde> even on windows 16:32 #navit: < bafplus> Hmm..i have to take a better look then because i couldnt find it on the wiki, but thanks! 17:09 #navit: < bafplus> Anyway, woglinde, you have navit on widows right? 17:29 #navit: < bafplus> Just to be sure: Does Navit remember usersettings? Like, if you have changed the layout or vehicle from the menu, is navit supposed to remember it? So are these settings "saved" so it opens in the same state as it was closed? I'm asking this because on windows (my only refferance) this behaviar is not. But i would like it to be. 17:54 #navit: < woglinde> I do not use windows 17:54 #navit: < woglinde> but I build for windows once 17:56 #navit: < bafplus> I filled a bug but it seems to only affect windows. Looking for someone who can verify if its just me or a bug.... 19:56 #navit: < woglinde> no user settings are saved yet 19:56 #navit: < woglinde> only when you edit navit.xmö 19:56 #navit: < woglinde> only when you edit navit.xml 19:58 -!- _rd [~rd@p57B49B32.dip0.t-ipconnect.de] has quit [] 21:01 #navit: < bafplus> Ok, thanks...i want to change the default layout (Car) to OSM...where to define that? 22:38 -!- drlizau [~liz@billiau.net] has joined #navit --- Log closed Mon Aug 11 00:00:41 2014
