Some Arduino boards can make such behaviour, or there is some electronics (not hand made) which can send keyboard codes when you make a resistance vary on their pins (ask me if you want a link, I'll find it for you) 06:07 -!- Netsplit *.net <-> *.split quits: Navit 06:27 -!- xenos1984 [~xenos1984@127-166-191-90.dyn.estpak.ee] has quit [Quit: Leaving.] 07:25 #navit: < RobertP> epy, how would you use gstreamer? 07:30 #navit: < epy> I don't really know, I read the docs but need to learn and try many things before. I may use it with a lib (C or Python depending which langage I feel able to use for this project) to call it and make it decode video or audio; but it would require to manage everything: playlists, UI etc.. which would not be necessary if I use VLC (integrated, don't know how to do that for instance) and MPD (developping a embedded client). One 07:30 #navit: < epy> of them 3 seems the best solution as they decode almost everything 07:39 -!- Davo_ [76d18f29@gateway/web/freenode/ip.118.209.143.41] has quit [Ping timeout: 246 seconds] 07:56 #navit: < RobertP> my mpd player provides playlist management my current git-version is working, feel free to try it out. But for me mpd isnt working inside a debian vm. 07:59 #navit: < epy> you use a debian vm ? you may need some adjustments in mpd config to choose the right audio output 08:12 #navit: < RobertP> its the emulated hardware.its a known issue on virtualbox 08:40 #navit: < epy> okay 08:40 #navit: < epy> that's not what you really use on your project, it's only a test 08:40 #navit: < RobertP> sure 08:41 #navit: < RobertP> on the vm i dont need to carry the pi everywhere. and its much faster in compiling. 08:42 #navit: < RobertP> and so i can hack some fast ideas if i am waiting someware... 08:42 #navit: < RobertP> :D 08:42 #navit: < epy> ahah :D cool idea 08:52 #navit: < RobertP> testing is always on the pi - thats why my git-repo changes so fast.i use it for transferring the code 08:53 #navit: < epy> with a master branch you git pull on the pi and a dev branch on your VM I suppose 08:58 #navit: < RobertP> no both audio_framework branch 09:29 -!- Greg__ [~greg@h209.53.90.75.dynamic.ip.windstream.net] has joined #navit 09:29 -!- Greg__ [~greg@h209.53.90.75.dynamic.ip.windstream.net] has left #navit [] 09:49 -!- RobertP [d9f3f0ac@gateway/web/freenode/ip.217.243.240.172] has quit [] 09:59 -!- zoff99 [~chatzilla@unaffiliated/zoff99] has joined #navit 10:26 -!- xenos1984 [~xenos1984@127-166-191-90.dyn.estpak.ee] has joined #navit 10:28 -!- jandegr [50c82ce3@gateway/web/freenode/ip.80.200.44.227] has joined #navit 11:18 -!- Number6 [~number6@zoidberg.geoghegan.me] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 11:53 -!- epy [~epy@2a02-8429-80f2-1501-3e97-0eff-feaa-374d.rev.sfr.net] has quit [Quit: Quitte] 12:02 -!- jjelen [jjelen@nat/redhat/x-xhrcdnrfjwjzohyc] has quit [Ping timeout: 255 seconds] 13:15 -!- Robotaxi [3ef5dbf5@gateway/web/freenode/ip.62.245.219.245] has quit [Ping timeout: 246 seconds] 13:30 -!- jonathanmaw [~jonathanm@82-70-136-246.dsl.in-addr.zen.co.uk] has quit [Quit: Ex-Chat] 14:18 -!- zoff99 [~chatzilla@unaffiliated/zoff99] has quit [Read error: Connection reset by peer] 14:18 -!- zoff99 [~chatzilla@unaffiliated/zoff99] has joined #navit 14:23 -!- epy [~epy@78.195.42.29] has joined #navit 14:37 -!- RobertP [5cd9e7ab@gateway/web/freenode/ip.92.217.231.171] has joined #navit 14:37 #navit: < RobertP> hi 14:46 #navit: < zoff99> hi 15:15 #navit: < epy> hey RobertP I thought something on my way to home: if you need to test audio output with your VM, you can set an http output on MPD, and use any audio client to listen as a http audio stream, vlc, another mpd instance on your LAN etc 15:31 -!- jandegr [50c82ce3@gateway/web/freenode/ip.80.200.44.227] has quit [Quit: Page closed] 15:36 -!- zoff99 [~chatzilla@unaffiliated/zoff99] has quit [Quit: ChatZilla 0.9.86-rdmsoft [XULRunner 1.9.1/20090707221522]] 16:03 #navit: < RobertP> epy, it's no problem that mpd isnt working on my vm. the mpd related stuff is finished. all i do now is tweaking and some optical stuff like icons. 16:04 #navit: < epy> okay :) 16:05 #navit: < RobertP> ok you made me inquisitive if it would wor with gstreamer, too. but had no time to think about it enough... 16:07 #navit: < RobertP> *work 16:08 #navit: < epy> lol ^^ It will require more work, I will read the doc again and try to explain it if you're interested 16:42 #navit: < epy> good night _o/ 16:42 -!- epy [~epy@78.195.42.29] has quit [Quit: Quitte] 16:43 -!- RobertP [5cd9e7ab@gateway/web/freenode/ip.92.217.231.171] has quit [Ping timeout: 246 seconds] 17:55 -!- robertp [5cd9e7ab@gateway/web/freenode/ip.92.217.231.171] has joined #navit 18:03 -!- Number6 [~number6@zoidberg.geoghegan.me] has joined #navit 19:35 -!- robertp [5cd9e7ab@gateway/web/freenode/ip.92.217.231.171] has quit [Quit: Page closed] 23:00 -!- xenos1984 [~xenos1984@127-166-191-90.dyn.estpak.ee] has quit [Quit: Leaving.] 23:14 -!- curious [~curious@ejb107.internetdsl.tpnet.pl] has quit [Ping timeout: 265 seconds] 23:21 -!- curious [~curious@ejb107.internetdsl.tpnet.pl] has joined #navit --- Log closed Sat Oct 24 00:00:05 2015
