I am using Navit on a raspberry pi and I have a problem with the map configuration (I think). I'm from Greece and Navit shows my location right. It works great. But when I try to set a destination or search for a town I find only places from the island of Crete. Do I need to change something on the xml file of navit? Or the navit planet extractor bin files for Greece support only destinations of Crete? Please If you now an 14:51 #navit: < aggelosmor_raspb> Sorry for my bad English. Great that you are using Navit. 15:04 #navit: < sleske> About your problem: Where did you get Navit's map? And do you have multiple maps active in parallel? That is not really supported, and you'll get problems with search and routing. 15:15 #navit: < sleske> KaZeR: Any news about trac? 15:17 #navit: < aggelosmor_raspb> sleske: No I Have only one map. It's from navit-planet-extractor. 15:19 -!- rcopelan [d15698ed@gateway/web/freenode/ip.209.86.152.237] has joined #navit 15:20 #navit: < rcopelan> @KaZer removing that entry worked for the parking.... Much cleaner map now. 15:21 #navit: < rcopelan> I must be missing the location of some documentation... my questions must have already been answered but I don't find them. 15:22 #navit: < rcopelan> WHen doing the "Enter Destination" dialog I can enter a country and city but nothing else. WHen entering the city (Gainesville) I get a list of Gainesvilles but no state code 15:22 #navit: < aggelosmor_raspb> sleske: I also noticed that when I search for a town I only see results of towns with english characters. I changed my keyboard in Greek language but I take no results at all. The weird thing is that navit can recognize the name (greek) of the location I'm on right now but I can't search for it. 15:22 #navit: < rcopelan> 2nd one is the one I want... after clicking it I can click the map button and get the proper map location but can not enter Post Code, Street, or Number. 15:23 #navit: < rcopelan> The Post Code, Street and Number along with District/Township are greyed out. 15:23 #navit: < rcopelan> Any ideas would be appreciated 15:36 #navit: <@KaZeR> hi there 15:37 #navit: <@KaZeR> sleske: i'm reinstalling the server. (Preferences->Raspberry Configuration->localization->keyboard) 15:41 #navit: < aggelosmor_raspb> @KaZeR: And I set it to Greek 15:42 #navit: <@KaZeR> aggelosmor_raspb: if you go in tools/locale, what does it show ? 15:43 #navit: < aggelosmor_raspb> @KaZeR: Where do I found tools/locale?
