Currently I am using a Si4703 module to receive fm radio stations. This is navit related because inside the analog signal is a digital "channel" called RDS and inside this channel is the tmc signal. 06:51 #navit: < jkoan> In the future navit should be able to process those signals. But in order to do so I am about to write a firmware which will read the rds data from the module over i2c and process them, so it could be finally send out to a PC or something like that. The output of the data should be a mnea like schema. 06:53 #navit: < jkoan> Right now I don't have anything published, but I will come up with UT shortly if you want to support me at this front 07:00 #navit: < jkoan> Kazer: I think in the last version this is already fixed. But I don't really know what the latest stable version of navit on Android is. So probably we fixed this year's ago or something like this :X 07:01 #navit: < jkoan> D_a_n could you please join the Navit beta testing group and retest. Before please Uninstall navit on Android to see the full effect 07:05 #navit: < jkoan> D_a_n also you are not floating the channel. Everything is okay. We are happy for everyone which comes to navit, asks questions and is willing to help :) I am also asking a lot of questions (mostly to Kazer) and I think I get a part of navit in the meantime 07:05 #navit: < youte> hi jkoan 07:06 #navit: < jkoan> Hi youte 07:06 #navit: < jkoan> I will look on your xml in a short time 07:07 #navit: < youte> yeah, i go to found muschroom in forest and work in xml after 07:08 #navit: <@KaZeR> hey there 07:08 #navit: <@KaZeR> i've setup a really basic readthedocs example : http://navit.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html 07:08 #navit: < jkoan> Kazer nice 07:09 #navit: <@KaZeR> it's currently in a branch for us to work on some basic content. You can contribute using the readthedocs branch : https://github.com/navit-gps/navit/tree/readthedocs/docs 07:09 #navit: <@KaZeR> i really think that it could help to have a structured user guide for our new users 07:09 #navit: <@KaZeR> we can steal most of the content from the wiki, but the nice thing is that this kind of doc is versioned, so we can tie it to a specific release 07:21 #navit: < youte> ok for readthedoc 07:24 #navit: <@KaZeR> alright time for me to sign off. back in a few hours 08:34 -!- xenos1984 [~xenos1984@2001:bb8:2002:200:6651:6ff:fe53:a120] has quit [Ping timeout: 246 seconds] 08:44 -!- xenos1984 [~xenos1984@2001:bb8:2002:200:6651:6ff:fe53:a120] has joined #navit 11:29 -!- xenos1984 [~xenos1984@2001:bb8:2002:200:6651:6ff:fe53:a120] has quit [Quit: Leaving.] 12:59 #navit: < youte> jkoan, 12:59 #navit: < youte> see that : https://github.com/navit-gps/ui-mockups 12:59 #navit: < youte> open navit 13:56 -!- xenos1984 [~xenos1984@2001:bb8:2002:200:6651:6ff:fe53:a120] has joined #navit 14:39 -!- naggety [028d1292@gateway/web/freenode/ip.2.141.18.146] has quit [Quit: Page closed] 15:14 -!- xenos1984 [~xenos1984@2001:bb8:2002:200:6651:6ff:fe53:a120] has quit [Quit: Leaving.] 15:14 #navit: < jkoan> youte: for "open navit" probably also haveing the option to add and remove items from the list? for example in the list of favorites the option "show on startup" 15:35 -!- xenos1984 [~xenos1984@22-164-191-90.dyn.estpak.ee] has joined #navit 16:34 #navit: < youte> yes its possible on setupe 16:35 #navit: < youte> it's just an example 16:37 #navit: <@KaZeR> hi there 16:42 #navit: < youte> hi 16:56 #navit: <@KaZeR> jkoan: nice work on trac! 16:57 #navit: < jkoan> android is mostly clean for release ;) 16:58 #navit: < jkoan> the biggest problem is only the config that does not get saved 16:59 #navit: <@KaZeR> maybe i can email jandegr 17:00 #navit: < jkoan> i will try to do it 17:01 #navit: <@KaZeR> perfect 17:01 #navit: < jkoan> android is the part of navit which i know best in the sourcecode. I only know all cmake things of navit but not more then this both 17:04 #navit: <@KaZeR> that's good because android is the part that i know the less :) 17:04 #navit: < jkoan> KaZeR: please take a look at T#1037 (T stands for ticket, i will use this syntax more in the future) 17:05 #navit: < jkoan> android is actually easy (it basicly loads navit as shared libary and runs it 17:05 #navit: < jkoan> ) 17:06 #navit: <@KaZeR> i think it's fine. We cannot alter the license of things like protobuf 17:07 #navit: <@KaZeR> i agree with tryagain : this issue shouldn't be a problem when redistributing sources that we didn't write 17:07 #navit: <@KaZeR> i'll close it 17:07 #navit: < jkoan> yes, i know, but is it "OK" to include them? 17:07 #navit: < jkoan> okay thx 17:08 #navit: <@KaZeR> i think that it's ok, but we can do some more research 17:10 #navit: < jkoan> okay. 17:10 #navit: < jkoan> next topic, what do you think, should we support android multi window? 17:19 #navit: <@KaZeR> what would be the benefit? 17:40 #navit: < youte> multi windows for android? it's useless no? gps use in drive 17:51 #navit: < jkoan> it would help on tablets. I am asking because of T#1317 if would not be so difficult to support it (if ther no other problem like resizeing) 17:56 #navit: < youte> why not! 18:23 #navit: <@KaZeR> i'd like to see a couple of mockups to understand how it would help the UX. 18:24 #navit: <@KaZeR> Even on desktop we don't use multiple windows (excepted for GTK) so it would be really specific 18:38 -!- jandegr [5bb61630@gateway/web/freenode/ip.91.182.22.48] has joined #navit 18:38 #navit: <@KaZeR> hey jandegr ! 18:40 #navit: < jandegr> hi kazer 18:41 #navit: <@KaZeR> 'sup jan? 18:44 #navit: < jandegr> just make a short visit here :) 18:45 #navit: <@KaZeR> really nice of you :) 18:46 #navit: < youte> hi jandegr 18:47 #navit: < jandegr> hi youte 19:14 -!- jandegr [5bb61630@gateway/web/freenode/ip.91.182.22.48] has quit [Quit: Page closed] 22:05 -!- eto [~eto@unaffiliated/eto] has quit [Read error: Connection reset by peer] 22:09 -!- eto [~eto@unaffiliated/eto] has joined #navit 22:13 -!- eto [~eto@unaffiliated/eto] has quit [Read error: Connection reset by peer] 22:41 -!- eto [~eto@unaffiliated/eto] has joined #navit 22:41 #navit: <@KaZeR> hi eto 22:51 #navit: < eto> hi 23:00 -!- rdorsch [~rdo@mail.bokomoko.de] has quit [Ping timeout: 255 seconds] 23:00 -!- rdo [~rdo@mail.bokomoko.de] has joined #navit --- Log closed Tue Oct 03 00:00:10 2017
