[07:53:54] <05jkoan> Don't know if this also works on windows, but when the tomtom is started with the blue screen and you connect it to the pc (no restart) the device should pop up as a network card. Then at the pc you can download putty and open telnet and the port of the tomtom (it is the host). If you are asked for user and password use root and nothing for the password (just press enter) I only don't know the IP you need to enter [07:53:55] out of my head [08:06:54] <03mike> Which screen? [08:37:45] <05jkoan> When you start your tomtom you are first presented with a solid blue screen, right? [08:51:56] <03mike> With 2 hands? [08:54:05] <03mike> The one with navit menu? [08:55:20] <03mike> When i start it. It shows tomtom logo then a loading screen for like 0.5 second. Then it goes dark for 1 second and navit boots [09:03:00] <05jkoan> Exactly. When the menu is shown on the top left and you plug in the device without rebooting, does windows shows a new network card? [09:04:44] <03mike> Windows doesnt mount it or detect it [09:05:03] <03mike> Windows does not detect it when its on the main blue screen [09:05:33] <05jkoan> If shouldn't mount it. But if you look in the device manager, what network cards do you see? Its very hard to type in its tiny keyboard [15:00:09] <07KaZeR> I should have my device on Monday or Tuesday I believe it’ll be much easier [15:11:40] *** Joins: mvglasow (~mvglasow@ipservice-092-217-006-192.092.217.pools.vodafone-ip.de) [15:12:17] *** Quits: mvglasow (~mvglasow@ipservice-092-217-006-192.092.217.pools.vodafone-ip.de) (Client Quit) [16:17:33] *** Quits: Navit (~Navit@ec2-34-214-224-248.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com) (Remote host closed the connection) [16:17:50] *** Joins: Navit (~Navit@ec2-34-214-224-248.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com) [16:17:50] *** ChanServ sets mode: +v Navit [16:18:42] *** Quits: Navit (~Navit@ec2-34-214-224-248.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com) (Remote host closed the connection) [16:18:59] *** Joins: Navit (~Navit@ec2-34-214-224-248.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com) [16:18:59] *** ChanServ sets mode: +v Navit [17:13:22] *** Quits: youte (~youte@95-210-220-204.ip.skylogicnet.com) (Read error: Connection reset by peer) [17:38:23] *** Joins: ilovekiruna (~ilovekiru@253.92-221-28.customer.lyse.net) [17:38:23] *** ChanServ sets mode: +v ilovekiruna [17:54:32] hi all [17:54:39] this could be also a chance for us: https://android-developers.googleblog.com/2019/05/developing-apps-for-android-automotive.html [17:54:40] :-D [18:24:37] *** Joins: youte (~youte@95-210-220-204.ip.skylogicnet.com) [18:24:37] *** ChanServ sets mode: +v youte [20:46:47] *** Quits: ilovekiruna (~ilovekiru@253.92-221-28.customer.lyse.net) (Quit: Konversation terminated!)
