[18:05:00] yes. [18:05:02] (for the tracking issue) [18:05:16] strace work well [18:05:31] ok. if you can share a stack trace of the segfault we can probably fix it [18:05:54] but the crash is internal. I see no bad call. [18:06:39] maybe navit is trying to open a file in an unsupported path or something like that [18:07:04] I think its a adress or stack violation, but i have no gdb [18:07:52] At the moment i try to compile navit self to add Debug output. [18:09:09] On the other side keeps me the GPS problem from investing much time. [18:09:38] Today I tried GPS again... [18:09:50] First try 2 minutest to fix. [18:10:50] After off/on no fiy after 2 hours. [18:11:10] After reset fix in 15 minutes. [18:15:45] i haven't looked into it for some time but i could maybe remove the dust from my tomtom ease. i think that at least for this one there was a way to feed it ephemeral data when starting the gltt daemon [18:17:16] Now i use a TT730 without gltt. It use a Star FIR III with hardware nmea output. [18:20:33] but my one XL with gltt have the same behavior. [18:31:56] Strange thing aside: If i stop navit, wait a minute, i get 6 active satelites. [18:32:29] after starting navit it drops to 4. May be this is a hardware power load problem. [18:33:41] My devices are >12 year old...so i think also this direction. [18:34:36] hmmmm. 7 satelites after 3 minutes without cpu load. [18:57:40] *** Quits: twoelk (~twoelk@pD9559792.dip0.t-ipconnect.de) (Ping timeout: 264 seconds) [19:10:26] interesting. this was not a cold start though right? because indeed TTFF seems to be really problematic [19:10:59] just stop navit. [19:11:54] now i check only with a grep on the device.
